CONSTRUCTION NOTE: SIGNS OF SPRING (typo was: "Sings of Spring"--I like that, too!): Construction starts up again on Monona Dr. March 1, 2010. Not exactly Tulips & Daffodils & Robins, but Spring none-the-less!

Entry from Monona Dr. is still open, and not as messy as it was, though there is one less driveway--enter at the PDQ. Alternately, come off Broadway thru the PDQ parking lot, or come around the building on the little side street off Broadway (Roselawn) where Caribou Coffee & Felly's are on the corners---call if you get lost: 222-9570.

REGULAR HOURS: Tuesday, Noon - 6:00pm; Wednesday - Friday, 11:00am-6:00pm; Saturday 11:00am-5:00pm. Closed Sundays / Mondays. However, if I happen to be in during off-hours & the door is open, so is the shop!

Welcome to Bonjour Beads*, where "one good bead deserves another." Join in the fun of creating your own beaded jewelry at this Madison area Bead Shop (I'm technically in Monona). Bring your friends, and enjoy the friendly, open atmosphere as you select beads and findings for your projects.

***A Thank-you goes out to Victoria Ballard, the niece of my sister-in-law, for coming up with the name for my shop (originally "odd hoc Bead Parlor," then briefly "Do Bead Do Bead Do") during an informal "brainstorming" session while I was on a visit in St. Louis.

You will find an assortment of sizes, shapes, and colors in Gemstone beads, Czech glass, Pearls, Organics, Silver, Vermeil, Pewter, and more... Choose from findings in Sterling silver, Gold-fill, copper, and hard-to-find hypo-allergenic Titanium and Niobium ear wires, as well as Niobium head & eye pins, jump rings, and wire. I've also put together a few kits for chandelier earrings that include all the findings you'll need (you add your choice of beads). If you prefer not to put together your own piece, choose from my ready-to-wear jewelry for instant adornment!

Some people want just one focal bead on a simple cord or chain, or maybe just two beads for earrings (I know, it's hard for some of us to believe!), while others want a variety of strands & accent beads to incorporate into unique designs. Whatever your style, "Bonjour Beads" can accomodate!

Broadway Blvd., immediate right at the blue-roofed mall right next to PDQ. General hours (which may vary) are Tuesday - Friday 11:00-6:00; Saturday 11:00-5:00. The shop is closed Sunday-Monday.
