BIG NEWS: I will be moving a few doors down, to 6424 Monona Drive (the old dance studio), right next to PDQ. I'll access the space beginning August 15th or so, when cleaning & painting begins; then, oh my, moving all those Beads! Bigger space, better visibility, and Street Level---I'm so excited!!! Welcome to Bonjour Beads*, where "one good bead deserves another." Join in the fun of creating your own beaded jewelry at this Madison area Bead Shop (I'm technically in Monona). Bring your friends, and enjoy the cozy parlor atmosphere as you select beads and findings for your projects.

***A Thank-you goes out to Victoria Ballard, the niece of my sister-in-law, for coming up with the name for my shop (originally "odd hoc Bead Parlor," then briefly "Do Bead Do Bead Do") during an informal "brainstorming" session while I was on a visit in St. Louis.

You will find an assortment of sizes, shapes, and colors in Gemstone beads, Czech glass, Pearls, Organics, Silver, Vermeil, Pewter, and more... Choose from findings in Sterling silver, Gold-fill, copper, and hard-to-find hypo-allergenic Titanium and Niobium ear wires, as well as Niobium head & eye pins, jump rings, and wire. I've also put together a few kits for chandelier earrings that include all the findings you'll need (you add your choice of beads). If you prefer not to put together your own piece, choose from my ready-to-wear jewelry for instant adornment!

Buy the Bead, Buy the Strand

Some people want just one focal bead on a simple cord or chain, or maybe just two beads for earrings (I know, it's hard for some of us to believe!), while others want a variety of strands & accent beads to incorporate into unique designs. Whatever your style, "Bonjour Beads" can accomodate!

(608) 222-9570. Located at 6400 Monona Drive, Madison (Monona), WI 53716, just off Hwy. 12/18 - Monona Dr. exit, at E. Broadway Blvd., in the blue-roofed mall next to PDQ. I don't have street signage, so look for USA Nails, then the Rural Insurance sign on the building, and the "Bonjour Beads" sign over the entrance door. I'm on the 2nd floor at the top of the stairs. General hours (which may vary) are Tuesday - Friday 11:00-6:00, and Saturday 11:00-4:00. The shop is always closed Sunday-Monday.
