August 4, 2010---IT'S OFFICIAL!!! I signed the Lease, and I'm re-opening in September 2010 at 1370 Williamson St., next to Lazy Jane's Cafe, just a block or so from the Willy St. Co-op. This is a Fabulous location! The space is much smaller than the Monona Dr. shop, so when I open, I'll have an "Inventory Reduction Sale," so those of you who missed the Store Closing Sale can get your deals.

I have a lot of scrubbing, painting, flooring & ceiling work to do before I bring in the Goodies, and can't wait to see the transformation. My friend, Deenah Givens, will be adding a line of funky wearables, to be determined. We haven't come up with a name for that line, yet, but the shop may take on more of a boutique feel. We'll see.........oh, what fun it will be! Stop in to say "Hi" if you're in the neighborhood, and watch the progress. I intend to be fully open by mid-September, in time for the Willy St. Fair. See you soon! (Lots of exclamation points---this is soooo exciting!!!!) And, I must give a million Thank-you's to my dear friend, Paula Westaway, who has been such a rock of support for me through these past few years of major life shifts (to quote a friend's T-shirt "Shift Happens!"). I Love You!

July 22, 2010---I might be on the verge of signing on for a new location, smaller than the previous, but cool location. Stay tuned....

BONJOUR BEADS HAS CLOSED FOR NOW!!!! My building has been sold & is being torn down to make way for a new Princeton Club. I have put the shop in storage while I search for a new location, and hope to re-open mid-summer (if you know of any appropriate spaces for rent, please let me know). After over 5 years of owning the Bead Shop, I'm NOT prepared to let it go yet....sometimes change is forced upon us, and we step off the cliff into the great unknown....we'll see what the Universe has "in store" for me....

Choose from findings in Sterling silver, Gold-fill, copper, and hard-to-find hypo-allergenic Titanium and Niobium ear wires, as well as Niobium head & eye pins, jump rings, and wire. I've also put together a few kits for chandelier earrings that include all the findings you'll need (you add your choice of beads).
